Our official shot for this year’s team photo has been unveiled, and the sailors have arrived!
Our captain Stavros was the creative driving force behind the shoot, and this year envisioned a nautical theme. Working closely with our Creative Director, Chris, his maritime vision was fulfilled! You might even notice that this year we took a slightly different approach, deciding to introduce illustration to our annual campaign. We are always inspired by art, fashion and when Chris proposed an expression of artistry through illustration we were totally onboard (pun not intended).
Each member of the team creates their own look, head to toe, and this year we were overwhelmingly inspired by the sailor works of Gaultier. With a modern edge inspired by fashion, creativity through our own interpretation and expression, and artistry through illustration, the vision was like none other!
The team shoot was shot as usual by a dear friend of Stavros, the ever-talented, Theo and retouching and illustration was done by our very own Chris, he really took the lead on making sure we all look as fabulous as we do in the final image, not to mention creating the illustrations by hand – a true artist!
So here we have the final shot… always remaining true to our Rakis brand! The end result is sexy, camp and unfailingly over the top! Would you expect anything less?
