Stavros
Creative Director
Stavros Tavrou is one of Melbourne’s hair industry leaders. He’s led catwalk, photographic and platform work, and most recently directed the Royal Botanical Runway for Shu Uemura, and events for VAMFF. For almost 40 years, he’s mentored and educated the industry’s leading talents. He channels this energy into his salon, Rakis on Collins, which privileges intimate styling of the individual. For this, he’s been recognised with awards, lecture appearances, high-end session and editorial work. ‘The client doesn’t just walk out with beautiful hair,’ Stavros says. ‘They walk out having enjoyed the whole Rakis experience.’
Terri-Louise
Head Colourist and Tape Extension Specialist
Terri is an accomplished hair colour specialist with a passion for creating beautiful and healthy hair. She loves to rise to a challenge and solve any colour problems her clients may have. She also specialises in tape extensions for those looking for length or thickness to wear their hair with more confidence. With extensive training at London’s renowned Daniel Gavin salon, Terri has honed her skills in precise hair colouring techniques and a commitment to prioritizing hair health creating natural beauty enhancement. Terri’s ultimate goal is to leave her clients delighted and satisfied, knowing their hair is in capable hands.
Tonia
Senior Colourist & Stylist
Tonia has been working as a hairdresser for over 20 years, and owned her own salon in Thessaloniki, Greece for 15 years, before recently moving to Australia.
Hairdressing is not just a profession for her. It is a form of creative expression without limitations. She delivers a tailored, luxury experience, combining advanced techniques with refined European aesthetics, while focusing on achieving impeccable results that enhance both the image and the confidence of each client.
Tonia is the whole package – she specialises in blondes, but can also cut, style, dress, braid, the works! You can guarantee that every appointment with her will leave you flawless both in the chair and back at home.
Beyond the salon, Tonia is a fashion girlie at heart and loves to travel the world to discover new trends and expand her influences and vision!
Gianluca
Senior Stylist
A very passionate hairdresser who believes in the power of a great haircut to transform not just looks, but lives. Formed in a prestigious academy in Bologna, he brings his Italian flair into each service.
Suzi
Senior Stylist & Colourist
Originally hailing from New Zeeland, Suzi has been hairdressing since 2016. She moved to the UK in 2021 to be a private hairdresser in London before landing in Melbourne in 2024 to continue her career.
She has won several Vanguard awards for Creative Colour and Creative Styling, and has worked with big brands such as LÓreal, Kérastase, Goldwell, Redken, and Davines.
Suzi is a breath of fresh air in the salon, with a friendly and enthusiastic approach to hair. She is a perfectionist who takes pride in finishing every service flawlessly and beautifully.
She welcomes you to her chair whenever you are ready!
Leidy
Senior Colourist, Stylist, and Makeup Artist
Leidy has a deep passion for helping people connect with their inner beauty so that it is reflected on their exterior, and they can feel confident, secure, empowered, and achieve a positive impact in their social and professional environments.
She loves to highlight the natural beauty of each person, integrating her image and beauty consulting knowledge into every session, because all humans are unique and perfect.
Leidy has extensive experience in the beauty industry – she was the Brand Ambassador for MaxFactor Colombia, and has worked on television, music videos, and fashion weeks around South America. She also loves to share her knowledge and conduct makeup workshops for people to learn how to highlight their natural beauty and feel good about themselves.
Ellias
Second Year Apprentice
Ellias comes from hairdressing royalty, starting his hairdressing journey at his father’s salon at Semaarn Salon in Port Melbourne.
He is fun-loving and loves a great chat while he does your hair. He is a perfectionist who takes his time to ensure you have every hair in place while you are in his chair.
Giorgia
Second Year Apprentice
Giorgia has been doing hair since she was only 14 years old! Starting with braiding her friends and family, up to colouring mum’s hair, she has always had a strong drive for hairdressing.
She loves doing colour, especially blondes, as well as extensions and bridal hair. She eventually wants to start her own bridal hair business.

Colleen knows the latest trends and emulates these, catering to each client’s own tastes. Whether it is a specialist style, blow-wave, hair-up or classic foils, Colleen’s keen eye and careful touch make each haircut personal, beautiful and enjoyable. Known for her incredible hair-ups and styling, make sure you book in with her for your next occasion. Her impeccable eye and attention to detail will leave you with great results. She also recently did the hair for the Hermès At Work event in Melbourne.
